I walked into the hotel with expectations of a forest view but ended up with a stunning partial view of the cove, overlooking the majestic Pacific Ocean. The room offered a vintage record player with records and a very cozy bed alongside a gas fireplace that served as our efficient heater. However, the so-called forest view was more of a view of the parking lot or a generator, making it necessary to keep the blinds shut all the time for privacy.

However, I had to endure a loud New Year's Eve party in the second room until 1AM. On the bright side, the room had everything we needed to stay comfy, with couches, a fireplace, and games.
